    Hello Kate,

it\\\’s Federica here from V&K. Thanks a lot for the comment.
If you are thinking of using pyrography for your furniture we advise to strip off the varnish or any residue of paint from the wooden surface, and I stress on wooden furniture because any other material won\\\’t render.
You can see what we do on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/VinellaKrupa
as well as on our new website: http://www.vinellakrupa.co.uk
    Hope it helps
    take care

I am curious about woodburning (pyrographics) on older wood pieces like these desks and chairs. Do you have to remove all the old finish? What are the safety concerns. I cannot find any information online. I love to hear from you.

    Thanks,
    Kate
