Marcin and Federica are based in Edinburgh, and they enjoy giving new life to old furniture [1] through pyrography and painting. They love taking inspiration from Art Nouveau pieces and have painted Klimt’s [2] “Sleeping lady” on a low coffee table.

Another table found in a swap shop now features Edinburgh’s landscape under a pale blue sky. Alice in Wonderland [3] is another reference for the creative couple – they have embellished a chair with scenes from Lewis Carroll’s novel.

When Marcin and Federica are not busy giving a bright new life to old furniture they can be found at Edinburgh’s Art’S Complex [4], where they teach courses on how to upcycle, decorate and reclaim old beloved furnishings.
