Google is reportedly working with trendy eyeglass company Warby Parker to design “more-fashionable frames” for its “Glass” headset, according to anonymous sources quoted by the New York Times this week. Warby Parker was founded two years ago, and the company made its mark by introducing a “one for one” business model (for every pair of frames purchased, Warby Parker donates another to someone in need). For its part, it looks like Google is aiming to make Glass a status accessory. The device made its New York Fashion Week debut in September when models wore colored versions at Diane von Furstenberg’s runway show.
