Weather Foils One World Trade Center’s Plans to Become Tallest Building in Western Hemisphere Today

New York City was looking forward to seeing One World Trade Center become the tallest building in the western hemisphere this morning, but unfortunately, the plans were scrapped due to high winds. While we were a bit crestfallen to hear the news, we’re looking forward to seeing the Freedom Tower reach its final height of 1,776 ft. at a later (and safer) date.
