An observation deck at a popular pond in Vöcklabruck, Austria gives visitors a unique view of the serene city waterway- by being submerged in the water without getting wet. Designed by Westpol Landscape Architects, the deck is carved out from the pond’s floor, giving visitors a new relationship with the body of water. By putting the visitors at eye level with the pond, Westpol gives them a water-level vantage point that would otherwise require going for a swim in the pond.

    wish I had one in my private brackish 30 acre lake with its huge 5 / 6 foot Tarpon,4 / 5 foot amber jacks and tall the other huge fish living in this lake ,sorry no fishing ever.. Only lake like it in south Florida we hand feed the fish for last 40 years ,would be nice to have them come right up to me while seeing them eye to eye,,,wow,,,Dino in sunny Miami.
