Will.i.am, Coca-Cola’s ‘Ekocycle’ Initiative Welcomes Levi’s and Case-Mate

Since Will.i.am and Coca-Cola launched their ‘Ekocycle’ initiative [4] in July to educate the hip, young crowd about the importance of recycling [5], scores of brands have joined the fun, including Levi’s and Case-Mate. The jeans and smart phone [6] and tablet accessory companies both joined last week with new products made with either partial or fully recycled materials, while Dr. Dre and New Era have been a part of the fun all along. This educational campaign is also aimed at helping today’s youth understand the role their purchasing decisions play in the bigger economic and social picture.
