Osklen founder Oskar Metsavaht doesn’t want his fashion label to be thought of as an eco-fashion brand; instead, the Brazilian label’s founder prefers to think of it as a purveyor of luxury goods that happens to use ecological materials, like fish leather and vegetable-dyed waste silk among them. Ecouterre chatted with Metsavaht on Tuesday, as Osklen trotted out “Endless Summer,” its Spring/Summer 2013 collection, which captures the perfect summer’s day on Ipanema’s boardwalk.
