It’s hard to imagine – but this Wednesday will mark the 12th anniversary of the tragic 9/11 attacks on Twin Towers. As a tribute, New York’s night skies will be lit once again with those two sky-piercing columns of light we’ve all come to know as the Tribute in Light. The lights will be switched on beginning at sunset on September 11, 2013 and will fade away at dawn on September 12th. Read on for more background behind these splendid columns of light and the project’s creators Julian Laverdiere and Paul Myoda.
