A new hospital to be built in Stockholm wants to be to health sciences what the Large Hadron Collider is to physicists.  The new Karolinska Solna University Hospital is expected to become the world’s most advanced hospital and will also be aiming for LEED Gold certification. Designed by Tengbom Architects and developed by Skanska, the ultramodern hospital will place a strong focus on the patient, and the design is based on research to reduce the spread of infection and promote rapid recovery.

    The combination of healthy food and “harmoniously designed to be a safe and comfortable place for the entire family” makes it very interesting if somebody comment of the type of food how it can be healthy.

    It will be interesting to know that in half the energy consumption the hospital is gonna run. may u please share the some of the major provisions provided in hospital to save energy.
