Adaptive reuse is all about starting with an object and transforming it into something new and useful through the power of smart design. Case in point: these old dumpsters turned into swimming pools! Talk about trash to treasure. Yes, of course. There is nothing “dirty” about a dumpster pool. Most dumpsters are used for carrying waste such as construction debris – sheet rock, boards, etc. Even if they were previously used for more “organic” forms of trash, you can clean the dumpster with a soap, water, and bleach mixture. On top of that, dumpster pools are lined with a thick plastic liner – you never even touch the inside of the dumpster.

So, as funny as the idea seems – it is perfectly safe to swim in a dumpster that has been properly cleaned!

    Thanks!
