This rendering has a differently shaped back end and placed standard side-view mirrors higher on the A-pillar at the front of the vehicle. These things will need to be worked out, but hopefully not all reduced to current mainstream-looking details, before the car comes to market.
A small pneumatic hybrid like the Aeolus would likely be best received in India or China, where an unusual but inexpensive propulsion system and a small car body could be very popular. Details like the side-view mirrors and side body faux air scoops would need a little refinement before production, but the aggressive and streamlined shape overall have potential. Zhang would like to get the Aeolus to market for just $8,000 by 2014, which is an optimistic timeline, but keep an eye out for his vehicle designs in Geely’s future lineups.
