Allison Patrick Transforms Hundreds of Soda Can Tabs into Gorgeous Glowing Lampshades

Designer Allison Patrick ^[6] (of Zipper8Lighting ^[7]) saved hundreds of soda can tabs ^[8] to create these shimmering eco-friendly lampshades ^[9], which emit a warm glow from beneath the layers of reclaimed materials. The tabs are carefully attached to a cylindrical plastic shade, and when the light shines through it creates a simple but dazzling effect. Hopefully Allison ^[6] didn't have to drink all of that soda by herself!

Each of Allison Patrick’s ^[7]‘s handmade lamps can be used as either a hanging pendant or a table lamp by simply adjusting the metal frame inside. The drum-shaped structure comes in different sizes and they are priced from $125 – $295. For more information take a look at Patrick’s Etsy page ^[9].
