Fiat is set to debut the all-electric 2013 Fiat500e, which promises to combine the stylish Fiat 500 with a zero-emission powertrain. Fiat has confirmed that the battery-electric Fiat 500e will been shown to the general public for the first time at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.
Although Fiat has yet to release all the details for the 500e, Fiat has released two photos to give us a preview of what to expect at the show. If you’re a fan of the Fiat 500, you have no reason to not like the looks of the 500e. The 500e is almost identical to the gas-powered versions with the exception of a new front bumper and more aerodynamic wheels. Inside the 500e gets a new two-tone color theme and the traditional gear selector has been swapped out for a push-button setup.
Fiat hasn’t announced if the 500e will be available nationwide, but for now Fiat has confirmed that it will be available in California in 2013.
