Technology and fashion are merging in new and unexpected ways. Chromat, the high-end label worn by stars like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Madonna, teamed up with semiconductor chip maker Intel to develop a 3D-printed dress that expands when the wearer shows signs of an adrenaline rush. Once the embedded Intel-designed module, called Curie, detects stress levels indicative of a flight-or-fight mode, a weblike network of cables will grow in size to make the wearer appear larger and more intimidating.
