Wearable Planters, 3d printing, colleen jordan, wearable plants, gardening,

Although wearable greenery certainly isn’t a new concept, Collen Jordan’s sturdy plastic planters are long-lasting and can be filled with water to keep the plants or flowers alive. Wearable Planters come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors to show off your favorite little bud, air plant or succulent. Wear them around your neck, pinned to your shirt, or even let them dangle from your ears.

Wearable Planters are created digitally with modeling software and then made with 3D printing technology. Jordan uses acrylic plastic that is then either hand dyed or painted. For the pins, she uses magnets so as not to damage your clothes. The bike planters can be secured to any bicycle frame with a nylon cord. Wearable Planters start at $30 and go up to $45 and can be found on Jordan’s Etsy page.
