The young designer’s table and cabinet are made from London Plane, a common city street tree that’s notorious for being a difficult timber to work with. Cox developed techniques to bring out the stunning patterns of the medullary cells in the wood. Also on display is a daybed that shows off the velvet appearance of Sycamore.4
