Freelance designer Luciana Simon’s to-the-point design asking us to “please turn to cotton”instead of paper towels received a whopping 659 reader votes, crowning her the Popular Choice winner.

Product designer Tiz Abbott Donnelly’s eye-catching design lets the world know that it isn’t a paper towel, and we want to let her know that she won the title of runner up!
Towels printed with the winners’ designs will then be available for purchase at the Inhabitat Shop and PeopleTowels.com just in time for Earth Day 2011, so stay tuned!
