French artist Benedetto Bufalino has transformed a very large cement mixer into one very shiny rotating disco ball. The Disco Ball Cement Mixer was recently parked at a construction site in Lyon, France where it definitely got the party started. The cement mixer’s barrel is covered with hundreds of mirrored tiles that glimmer as it rotates, reflecting gleaming lights onto nearby surfaces.. Of course, the party truck also plays music to get passing pedestrians in the dancing mood.

Benedetto Bufalino is known for his offbeat public art – in the past he has transformed a telephone booth into an aquarium and flipped a car upside-down to create a ping pong table. The artist unveiled his cement truck disco ball in early December at a construction site in Lyon, France. Once parked and rotating, the bright lights and music apparently attracted quite a few passersby, transforming the dark corner into a vibrant dance party.
