Inspired by the magic of the Aurora Borealis, the Aurora Task Lamp is an eye-catching lighting sculpture that combines upcycled wine barrel staves with color-changing LEDs. Fifteen ordinary white LED’s are grooved into the underside of the wood arm for bright lighting, while a supporting brushed aluminum cylinder houses color changing bulbs. With the accompanying remote control, users can select a single color setting or allow the light to change from blue to red, green, yellow, white, and purple, automatically. Other functions include a flash, strobe, and fade mode.
The unique light is adjustable and can be transformed from a table lamp to a wall sconce in a pinch. Built in attachment-points make hanging the light with the cylinder either up or down easy.
