Martial Marquet and Judith Angel have designed Balise, a nomadic homeless shelter that can adapt to a variety of environments while providing all the necessary comforts of home. Developed for a competition that tackles homelessness launched by PEROU, the Balise design concept comprises two pop-up housing types—Solo and Duo—that include a bed, table, storage, and bathroom. The shelters can be used autonomously or joined together with other structures to create a temporary community.
