Bronsen Company’s cruelty-free animal menagerie brings the African safari to your home

Bronsen Company’s beautiful Project Safari brings a cruelty-free alternative to taxidermy to the modern home. Hand made and hand cast in Brooklyn, the collection of ceramic safari animal busts are made with ceramic, glazed in either white or charcoal and can be mounted indoors or out. The studio's first project will make its debut at this year's BKLYN Designs Furniture Festival.

Each of the animals in Project Safari exude a Cubist-inspired feeling, with sleek angles that are also reminiscent of origami. Each of the five animals in the line are assigned a name and character. Calvin is the crocodile, whose low head peeks out of a garden. Hamilton is a hippo, with an angular snout that sits well on a desk. Grayson the gorilla looks great with a series of friends, standing more like a bust than the previous animals, with a thick, strong neck. Gerard, the giraffe, is the most ornamented of the safari animals, with a pointed crown of two antlers. To complete the safari, Lewis the lion dons a thick and protective main, and looks great watching over a room from a high shelf. The collection of hand-cast animals look great alone or as a set, and will debut at BKYLN DESIGNS.
