Upcycled from post-consumer waste, <a href=\"http:\/\/ghettopicasso.blogspot.com\/\">Ghetto Picasso&#8217;s <\/a>white horse is gambiarra comes reborn in the form of an illuminated Psychopomp lamp. Adapted from Henry Fuseli&#8217;s painting &#8220;The Nightmare&#8221;, a child&#8217;s rocking horse, metal stand, electrical supplies and a small grill from a portable BBQ have been assembled into an oversized nightlight &#8212; which you could also serve cocktails on! Fuseli&#8217;s painting is thought to be one of the classic depictions of sleep paralysis perceived as a demonic visitation, Incubi, which were thought to sit on the chests of sleepers.  Psychopomps (of Greek origin) are creatures, spirits, angels or deities in many religions who are responsible for escorting newly deceased souls to the afterlife.
