Michelle Brand<\/a>‘s “Cascade Lancashire Ceiling Lights” are elegant, flowing designs that upcycle plastic bottles to create stunning chandeliers. Brand states that her “designs are in direct response to environmental problems,” and her unique upcycling of this all-too common waste product “unveil the hidden beauty of everyday objects.” These chandeliers come in a variety of sizes, colors, and configurations; some even extend all the way from the ceiling to the floor. The translucent soda bottle bottoms are intricately connected by string in complex geometric patterns that allow ambient light, as well as the bulb’s own glow to pass through.
