That Johnson’s father was a printer speaks something of his obsession with paper. This tie is especially evident in his much-publicized show Publish or Perishat the Moore Gallery a few years back. The exhibition featured a paper-made printing press in addition to a hand-made and fully operational cardboard camera! Other carefully crafted tributes included cassette tapes, boom boxes, and luggage. We love to showcase that sort of craftiness here at Inhabitat.
