If you’ve been looking for an alternative to eco-unfriendly plastic bags, then the Fabriano waste paper bin is the green solution you’ve been looking for. A project created by Italian designers Riccardo Nannini, Domenico Orefice and Emanuele Pizzolorusso, this clever prototype consists of 50disposable and biodegradable pleated- recycled paper containers, nested inside one another. Once a “bin” meets full capacity, all you have to do is pull it out, throw it away, and you’ll find yourself with a clean start!
Fabriano is a bin designed for disposing paper (and the like) and is perfect for making a nice and neat eco-friendly statement at the office.
If you’re only using it for containing paper products, they whole of the contents could be recycled after the bin is full. But if you are using it for any other biodegradable or compostable (dry!) material, like vegetable peelings, wool or dry leaves, you could easily dump it inside your compost bin for friendly bacterias earthworms and other creepy crawlers to feast on!
