Nonprofit school Design Build Research (DBR) has teamed up with the TED2017 ‘The future you’ conference in Vancouver to launch PAUSE, a competition that challenges participants to rethink individual space. Open to all full-time post-secondary students or young professionals, the PAUSE competition seeks pavilion designs about personal reflection. The winning pavilion will be built and displayed at the TED2017 conference and moved to a forest location after the event concludes. The winner will receive a TED2017 conference pass, airfare to Vancouver from a North American airport, and accommodations for the installation period. The submission deadline is January 1, 2017.
