Design the Black Taj Mahal for a shot at $6,000October 20th, 2017

As one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal has no real rival in India—but historians say Mughal emperor Shah Jahan had planned on building a black counterpart. To further explore this idea, unfuse launched The Black Taj, an ideas competition for the design of a black marble mausoleum located across the Yamuna River directly opposite the Taj Mahal. The design must educate visitors on Mughal history, enhance overall visitor experience to the area, celebrate India’s Mughal history, and be designed with resiliency in mind. The competition is open to people of all nationalities and professions, including students. There is a registration fee. A total prize pool of $6,000 will be distributed among the winners. The registration and submission deadline is October 20, 2017.
