Ample Sample is an annual sustainable design challenge that calls on the design community to rethink retired carpet samples monopolizing their resource libraries. The goal of the challenge is to have designers reuse and re-imagine these wasteful squares as raw materials for other purposeful objects. Finalists will be showcased at NeoCon World’s Trade Fair 2011 and featured on the Ample Sample Facebook page and website, complete with blueprints for building their designs. All entries are due May 25th, 2011.
