Are you a filmmaker interested showing the plight of planet earth with breathtaking pictures or creative animation? If this sounds like a dream project to you, then the Green-Go International Short Film Festival is for you! Sponsored by CEEweb for Biodiversity, Diverziti Association, and Greenpeace Hungary, the festival invites all camera wielding creatives to take part. Short film categories include: our treasures: the earth and the food; reducing consumption is the key to survival; and preserving forest diversity. Select videos will be screened during the evening of the film festival on December 3, 2011, at Toldi Cinema in Budapest, Hungary, and winners will be awarded cash prizes. Submissions are due by November 24, 2011.

The short film should be:

Of any genre with a relevant environmental message, with a length of between 30 seconds and 8 minutes, and uploaded to Youtube in HD version (720p or 1080p).

Application requirements:

Filled out online application form, attached youtube video link, attached time-coded subtitle file (.srt) in English, attached two still pictures from the movie (min. 300 dpi), attached one picture of the director (min. 300 dpi), trailer, if available.

One Applicant can only submit a maximum of 3 videos (for each entry, separate online application should be filled out).


The received short films will be selected based on: creativity, originality, strength of environmental and conservation messages and professionalism in each category according to the category-specific jury consisting of a journalist, film professional and a relevant NGO member. In each category, the jury will select one first-place award.
