The Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) is now accepting applications for its prestigious Richard Rogers Fellowship. Open to accomplished professionals and scholars working in any field related to the built environment around the world, the fellowship offers a research residency at the Wimbledon House to help advance research on any issue critical to shaping the contemporary city. The six selected fellows will receive a three-month residency, travel expenses to London, and a $10,000 USD cash prize. The deadline for submissions is November 28, 2016.

Each year, six fellows will be awarded a three-month residency, travel expenses to London, and $10,000 USD cash prize, enabling them to have access to London’s extraordinary institutions, libraries, practices, professionals, and other resources. The goal of the residency program is to support research that addresses alternative and sustainable urban futures.


Eligible candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree, though advanced degrees are preferred. Candidates will be asked to submit a CV, portfolio of design work and/or research work, and research proposal. The deadline for submissions is November 28, 2016. Winners will be announced in early December 2016.


The Fellowship Selection Committee includes: Richard Burdett, Ivan Harbour, K. Michael Hays, Hanif Kara, Mohsen Mostafavi, Farshid Moussavi, Patricia Roberts, and Lord Richard Rogers.
