Are you a student ready to blaze trails in the architecture world? Submit your designs to the 2016 It’s LIQUID Architecture and Design Students Award for the chance to be featured on It’s LIQUID website and to take part in the Venice Architecture Academy’s first-ever workshop in May 2016, which will coincide with the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale. Projects can be realized or conceptual and cover all aspects of architecture and design, from interior design to urban planning and from residential to commercial. The selected finalists will be published on It’s LIQUID’s Facebook and three winners will be determined by popular vote. The deadline for submissions is April 15, 2016.

The 3 best voted projects will be presented on It’s LIQUID website and architects and designers will take part in the first workshop of Venice Architecture Academy, the academic division of BORDERS festival 2016. It’s Liquid Team will select 1 TOP project among the TOP 3 that will be presented during BORDERS 2016, the International Art and Architecture Festival, in the same period of the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale. The winner will also take part in the first workshop of Venice Architecture Academy and the project will be featured on It’s Liquid website.


All students are invited to take part in the festival submitting their projects following these guidelines:

- Board 01: project concept and plan/plans

- Board 02: front views, sections and perspective drawings

- Board 03: HD Renderings

- Project description (in English and Word Format, max 3 pages)

- Project credits (project name, student’s name/surname, school, CV/biography and e-mail address)

Boards' size is A3 (420 mm × 594 mm), 200 dpi. Boards must be submitted in .jpg format and wide not less than 1600 px. All projects can be presented with many boards (max of 10 boards), containing at least the requested drawings and renderings. Video-architecture works, photos of installations and scale models can be submitted too. Submissions can be the work of an individual or a group and there is no age limit. Interdisciplinary teams are also encouraged to enter the competition.
