Think you have what it takes to design the next “High Line” or “Emerald Necklace?” If so, enter your visions to Kansas City’s Twin Creeks Linear Park Design Competition for a shot at $24,000 in prizes. Open to students and professionals, the design competition seeks to bring new ideas for a linear park that could stretch over 7 miles and contribute to the development of Twin Peaks. Participants can enter as individuals or as part of a multidisciplinary design team. Up to three teams will be selected as the winners and present their proposals at a public event. One student submission will also be selected for Honorary Mention. The deadline for submissions is July 8, 2016.

Individuals or design teams are asked to submit 3 design boards with layout of visual and written materials for the design proposal, dimensions of 24x36 inches in PDF format, with a maximum size of 25 MB per board. Separately, teams are asked to submit a 16-page (max) qualification package in PDF format, with a maximum size of 25 MB.
