Raise environmental awareness in the 2017 Green-Go International Short Film ContestOctober 1st, 2017

Green-Go has launched its seventh annual international short film contest in search of attention-grabbing flicks that raise awareness about environmental issues or solutions. Any genre of video is accepted but films cannot be longer than four minutes in length. This year’s categories include: Build Green, Live Green (Green Infrastructure); The Last Day on Earth (Earth Overshoot Day); and Your Europe in 2050 (EU Budget). Applicants can submit a maximum of three films of any genre. Awards include 500 Euro and 200 Euro online gift vouchers. Submission deadline is October 1, 2017.

• Any genre is accepted (cartoon, animation, puppet film, documentary, interviews, etc.)

• Judgment criteria: creativity and originality, strength of social, environmental and conservation messages, potential impact on citizens and decision makers, and professionalism.

• Deadline: 1st October 2017 00:00.

Films will be evaluated by a jury consisting of film professionals and NGO members. In each category, the jury will announce ONE winner on 23 October 2017.

Online voting for the audience award winner will start on 5 October 2017 – films available to view via The voting ends on 22 October 2017 and the winner will be announced on 23 October.
