Dutch designer Diederik Schneeman recently added a new object to his wonderful collection called Flip Flop Story. Crafted from used flip-flops washed ashore in Nairobi, Kenya, this unique new table brings new life to lost soles.

Schneeman collects discolored, worn out, torn and tossed away flip-flops that he finds washed up along the beach. Together with a group of locals they clean them and recycle them into a new material with endless possibilities. The collection, which includes lamps and vases, now has a new member shaped as a table. The piece was unveiled last week during the Milan Furniture Fair.
