An Educational, Ecological Bike Ride in the Lower East Side

Join the Lower East Side Ecology Center’s Education Director for a leisurely bike ride tour of the neighborhood’s ecologically beneficial green street trees. You’ll be learning about the importance of street trees in the community and exercising en plein air. You can also learn how to request a tree in front of your building and how you can help NYC care for young street trees. Register for the event here.

The ride will start at the corner of 2nd Ave and 10th St in front of St. Mark’s Church, and it will end at the Sidewalk Arboretum near the Asser Levy Recreation Center at 23rd St and the East River.
