Join the Delancey Underground team to learn more about the initial design and technology behind the proposed “LowLine” park, hosted by the Mark Miller Gallery.
The month-long exhibition will showcase the solar technology enabling a subterranean park, allow visitors to preview initial designs, and engage the broader community on the potential uses of a community-based public space in the 21st century.
To open the exhibit, the Delancey Underground Co-Founders James Ramsey and Dan Barasch, along with key members of the design and engineering teams, will be present for an Open House on Sunday, April 1. The exhibit is free and open to the public throughout the month of April.
The show will include a life-size rendering of how the park could look and feel, as well as a 3D model of the proposed park. Images of the current location as well as architectural renderings of its potential future will be available for viewing and for purchase.
