An Evening with The NY Times’ Mark Bittman to Benefit the Brooklyn Food Coalition

Please join the Brooklyn Food Coalition for an exciting fundraiser featuring New York Times cooking and food policy writer Mark Bittman on Tuesday April 30th in downtown Brooklyn! Coinciding with the release of his new book “VB6: Eat Vegan Before 6:00 p.m. to Lose Weight and Restore Your Health…For Good”, Mr. Bittman will speak on “The Future of Food” and will address how we can eat for the health of our bodies and the planet.

Tickets are $20; there will be a limited amount of student tickets for $10. A VIP Dinner will follow the talk: $175 VIP Dinner tickets include a 4-course meal, wine, a signed copy of Mr. Bittman’s new book, and entry to the talk. Doors open at 5 pm and the talk will go from 6-7:30 p.m. Bittman will be signing copies of his new book and there will be a raffle for the complete works of Bittman along with snacks, aprons and other merchandise. Ticket sales are now available here and all proceeds go to support the Brooklyn Food Coalition: Working Toward A Healthy, Just, and Sustainable Food System For All!
