The New York City Department of Parks & Recreation is designing the Springville Greenway, a 3.3-mile off-road bicycle and pedestrian path running north-south along the eastern edge of the future Freshkills Park site. The path will begin at the intersection of Arlene Street and Signs Road and continue down the length of Richmond Avenue to its intersection with Arthur Kill Road, providing a new connection to existing and future on- and off-street bike facilities along the way. Stop by this open house to learn more about the new greenway and speak with the the planners and designers responsible for the project.
