For those adventurous enough to travel eastward from Williamsburg to the Morgan Avenue L stop, a truly innovative and inspiring restaurant experience awaits in Roberta’s, a Hipster eatery in its truest form. The pizza is made in a wood-burning oven with homemade mozzarella and is accompanied by a wide array of fresh vegetables and produce. Most of the produce comes from their rooftop garden, and what they don’t grow themselves, they buy from other local farms. Plus, all of the beer is brewed in Brooklyn. Roberta’s has also attracted significant attention from New York’s culinary scene for its interesting and well executed entrees like it Black Bass with razor clams, kohlrabi tops and maitake. Well worth the trip!
