Stanton Street CSA

Summer: Thursdays, 5:30 to 7:30pm

Over the course of the year members of the Stanton Street CSA take home many, many different types of vegetables—usually organic, always fresh-picked and changing with the seasons. In addition to vegetable shares, we also offer fruit, egg and flower shares, as well as assorted meats, dairy products and freshly baked breads. This CSA sources their various shares from a selection of farms, all located in upstate New York. Vegetables and flowers come from Ted and Jan Blomgren’s amazing Windflower Farm, which is certified by a farmer-to-farmer organization for growers who agree to farm in accordance with the National Organic Program. At the end of each distribution session, unclaimed shares are donated to The Bowery Mission, a local charity that provides New York City’s homeless population with meal services, outreach programs, tutoring services and more.
