The subterranean sauna has a mild industrial feel to it thanks to the raw concrete and rusted metal wall, combined with a minimalist Japanese aesthetic and a view that will make a grown man weep. Each of the Juvet Landscape Hotel’s ten rooms are built with soft, fast-growing pine and sit on stilts to ensure the smallest environmental impact possible.
The last time we checked, it cost about €300 a night to stay at the boutique hotel, which we thought was steep at the time. But now we have to think: how is it possible to put a price tag on this amazing setting? We say if you have a chance, go. Go now. And don’t look back.
