‘Tis the season to stomp, maul, pepper-spray and otherwise cause egregious harm to your fellow man. Don’t believe us? Check out Black Friday Death Count, a website that has been tallying post-Thanksgiving, shopping-related deaths and injuries across the country since 2006. Just last year, two people were shot outside a Tallahassee, Fla., Walmart while fighting over a parking space. In 2011, Black Friday shoppers at a Target store in West Virginia ignored and stepped over the body of a 61-year-old pharmacist who collapsed and later died as a result of a heart condition. Another mob of frenzied shoppers stampeded a Long Island Walmart in 2008, trampling on—and killing—a 34-year-old worker and injuring four other bargain-hunters, including a woman who was eight months pregnant.

In San Diego, a man was hospitalized early Friday morning after being stabbed during a Black Friday event at a Carlsbad mall. An ambulance was dispatched to a New Boston, Tx., Walmart after a woman was reportedly trampled on.

At a Walmart Supercenter in Garfield, N.J., officers ticketed a 29-year-old woman who spit on another woman’s child during an argument over infant clothing. A shopper was arrested at the same store after he became belligerent and attacked a police officer.
