As far as career segues go, shifting gears from world champion skateboarder to eco-menswear designer might not be as huge a leap as you might think, particularly if you’re Pierre Andre Senizergues. After all, the French athlete-turned-entrepreneur has donned many hats along the way, founding several brands of skateboard shoes and a collection of modern furniture fashioned from reclaimed decks.

When Senizergues realized that traditional formalwear would not jibe with him nor his fellow iconoclasts, he roped in designer and close pal Pierluigi Pucci to launch Collection Pierre Andre Senizergues—C-PAS, for short. Its mission: To “engage the modern man’s street style with a passion to the environment,” according to the company.

C-PAS’s mission is to “engage the modern man’s street style with a passion to the environment.”

For Spring/Summer 2010, C-PAS offers a 44-piece lineup of casual and custom-tailored clothing and accessories in a pared-down palette of army greens, crisp whites, and heather grays. But don’t confuse “neutral” with “boring.” The deftly constructed garments come in an unexpected array of recycled materials, including fabrics derived from nylon parachutes, cassette tapes, and mosquito nets.
