THE NEW NEW
For Fall/Winter 2014, Ecoalf didn’t hold back. The firm has produced a line of 100 percent recycled coats and jackets for city slickers to navigate both uptown and downtown with equal ease. Available for both men and women, the weather-weathering styles offer shelter from the elements without further straining the planet’s beleaguered resources.
“Our collections are inspired by real people, urbanites who love culture and nature,” Paloma Oñate Dancausa, head of business development at Ecoalf, tells Ecouterre. “People concerned about environmental sustainability and social consciousness.”
Goyeneche takes a wider view. “Ecoalf symbolizes what I believe the fabrics and products of the new generations should be,” he adds.
