Khloe Kardashian has strong words for people who wear fur. The reality-show star made a graphic statement in New York City on Monday when she wore a faux-fur jacket with the words “F*ck Yo Fur” spray-painted in red on the back. Kardashian later posted a Keek video of herself wearing the altered topper, accompanied by the caption “F*ck Yo Fur!!! Fake fur all day people!!” The longtime animal activist was quick to dismiss any relationship to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, however. Although Kardashian posed in the buff for PETA’s “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” ad campaign in 2008, her relationship with the group soured after a PETA member flour-bombed her sister Kim—a notorious fur-wearer and the target of a PETA billboard in 2011—at a red-carpet event in 2012.

“No I’m NOT with PETA! I stand for kindness. Treat others the way you want to be treated. This includes the ones w/a voice and the ones wo.,” she wrote on Twitter. (All tweets are [sic].) “How can u ask 4 non cruelty yet u attack my sister? No thanks! Won’t be apart of your bullying ways.”

Kim’s fiancé, the rapper Kanye West, is also partial to wearing the skins of minks, rabbits, and foxes. Not that Kardashian appears fazed by his or her sister’s choice of outerwear. “I have my beliefs but I respect the choice of others,” she tweeted. “I don’t bully people into sharing the same beliefs as me. #LoveIsCheaper lol.”
