People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ has unveiled a new take on its “cruelty-free bunny” logo. The new “Beauty Without Bunnies” mark, which existing licensees can switch to at no extra cost, will still serve the same purpose: to assure consumers that the cosmetic, personal-care, or household products they’re holding hasn’t been party to animal abuse. “The logos tell consumers that the world’s largest animal rights organization has certified a company as cruelty-free,” says Amanda Nordstrom, company liaison for Beauty Without Bunnies at PETA. “When you use products from PETA-certified cruelty-free companies, you can be sure no animals suffered for your beauty.”
