Pure Waste Textiles has launched a new Save Water Challenge to get companies to participate in reducing their water consumption. As its T-shirts are made from 100 percent recycled textile waste, no new cotton needs to be grown. This translates as a saving of 2,700 liters of water for every Pure Waste T-shirt produced, according to the team. So far the company has saved over 23 million liters by producing its eco-friendly shirts as opposed to typical manufacturing processes. Now Pure Waste is encouraging forward-thinking companies to buy their T-shirts and help be part of the solution. “This is a perfect water saving story for your company to share,” the firm says. “It is your [chance] to look good and make a difference.”
