CIRCLE CHAIN NECKLACE
Of the new line, one of our favorite pieces is the Circle Chain Necklace ($98), which pairs layers of metal chain with polished tagua loops for a modern multitextured look. Inspired by the rainforests of Ecuador and the streets of New York, the piece is the perfect contrast of hard and soft, making it versatile enough to complement any outfit. It comes in both military green and sugar pink.
If you’re looking make a splash, the new Cascade Necklace ($138) is your best bet. Its layered strands of açaí and pambil seeds are polished to a luster that’s evocative of real pearls, except with a pop of natural color. It features a handwoven fabric clasp and is available in lilac, salmon, sea green, and teal.
The Andean Collection may be a small outfit, but it stands for something bigger than financial gain. “As excited as I am about the new colors and designs, I’m also thrilled that we have seen significant and tangible improvements in the artisans’ lives,” says Amanda Judge, the company’s founder. “They all now have full-time work through the Andean Collection. Hopefully this year we can add new artisans as our sales increase.”
