Kate Middle-who? The latest bridal-gown sensation will be a vision of toilet paper, glue, and thread. Cheap Chic Weddings.com will once again play host to the Annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest—it’s seventh to date—based on the popular wedding-shower game. But don’t mistake the competition for amateur hour at the local craft fair. Previous winners have included a sweeping Gone With the Wind-inspired ball gown—the dress was compared to an Oscar de La Renta couture creation—and a thigh-skimming bustier gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline.

Winners will be announced on July 7. “We are extremely excited about this year’s contest and look forward to seeing all of the creative entries,” says Laura Gawne, co-founder of Cheap Chic Weddings. “They never cease to amaze us!”
