CYCLE CHIC

Formerly known as Inner Beauty, the Portland, OR label had its genesis in 2006, when designer Barbi Touron began cutting inner tubes into crafty creations in her garage. It wasn’t long before word got around and Touron was flooded with orders. It was then that she teamed up with Aaron Shear to hatch the Urban Lace we know today.

The five-year-old label started out in a tiny garage, where designer Barbi Touron would cut inner tubes into crafty creations.

By rescuing castoff tires from local bike shops, Urban Lace doesn’t just save them from dumpster purgatory. Given its origins, the jewelry is also waterproof and tough-as-nails. And, as we all know, black goes with everything.
